Giancarlo Esposito Becomes The MCU's New Kang In Epic Marvel Art
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Avengers: The Kang Dynasty fan art imagines Giancarlo Esposito as the new version of Kang the Conqueror for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Following the end of The Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios has been tapping into the concept of alternative realities through The Multiverse Saga. Throughout the recent MCU movies and TV shows, several new actors have joined the franchise as various heroes and villains.
For the time being, Marvel Studios has not commented on Esposito's casting for the MCU, despite him saying that people will see him "sooner rather than later." While Kang the Conqueror is serving as the main enemy for The Multiverse Saga, his fate is currently unknown. Is The MCU Actually Recasting Kang The Conqueror? Close Ever since the firing of Jonathan Majors, it has been unclear what is going on with Kang for the rest of The Multiverse Saga. The character, nor any of his variants, have appeared in any recent MCU movies or TV shows since Loki season 2, as no actor has taken over the role yet. Supposedly, Marvel Studios is looking to recast Kang, even though there are also reportedly now referring to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty as simply Avengers 5.
If Esposito were to have been cast as Kang, it would be a massive casting for the MCU, as he is an incredibly talented actor who could do some terrific work as an iconic Marvel villain. At the same time, it would also be fun to see Esposito play a Marvel superhero, especially if Kang is potentially getting written out as the main villain of The Multiverse Saga.
