Half-term activities are also taking place for Nottingham Halloween Festival
Giant colourful monsters have invaded the city rooftops once again for Nottingham Halloween Festival. They will be in place until Saturday, November 5.
There are even more to spot this year as It's In Nottingham's crazy creatures take up residence on the rooftops of high street shops and businesses across the city. Locations are the Theatre Royal, Bravissimo in Bridlesmith Gate, Victoria Centre, The Cornerhouse, Nottingham Castle and Binks Yard, off London Road.
There’s more to enjoy closer to the ground too. Activities include chocolate-making and craft workshops for the whole family, plus pumpkin carving, zombie tea light jar and ghosting milk bottle crafting.Live entertainment and spooky activities will be staged across the city on Tuesday, October 31. Grab a spooky selfie with Ecto-1 and the Ghostbusters in King Street from 10.30am to 4pm.
More family fun awaits visitors to Nottingham Castle, including a monster mash disco with DJs, pumpkin selfie station and other surprises from 11am to 3pm – entry to Nottingham Castle grounds is also free on Tuesday, October 31. Children over three years of age can make their Halloween outfits come to life by visiting one of the free face painters dotted around the city at various locations.
