Kayvon Thibodeaux has big expectations for himself heading into his third season with the New York Giants. The outside linebacker and edge rusher won't settle for another good season. He had 11 1/2 sacks last season. The No. 5 overall pick in 2022 is expecting “greatness” from himself.

Combined with Pro Bowl tackle Dexter Lawrence, the trio should put pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and that’s without blitzing.“He’s a fast, twitchy guy. I’m more of a long, powerful guy,” Thibodeaux said. “I can show him a few things. He can show me a few things. And while we’re in the rush, right, I know how he’s going to approach his offensive tackle, and he knows how I’m going to approach it. So, we kind of unleash it, and we just continue to play.
Thibodeaux expects the number to be lower, especially with Lawrence in the mix after signing a four-year $80 million contract extension May.
