Playing fields set to host a fireworks display in East Renfrewshire will be fenced off during the event.
The announcement follows reports of anti-social behaviour taking place during previous fireworks displays at the site.
Temporary fencing is set to be erected from 4pm on the day and will be removed the following morning. "Over recent years, large crowds have gathered at Muirend playing fields, which borders the rugby club, to watch the fireworks display and significant reports of anti-social behaviour were received.""This decision has been reached after discussion with East Renfrewshire Council and other partners about how to make sure this is possible.
