Naturalized player Justin Brownlee led Gilas' balanced attack, finishing with 19 points while June Mar Fajardo added 16. The game was open to the public as interim head coach Tim Cone continues to drum up support for the national team ahead of the Asian Games in China. The five last-minute lineup replacements of CJ Perez, Arvin Tolentino, Kevin Alas, Marcio Lassiter and Chris Ross were also present in the friendly game, while supposed returning national team member Calvin Abueva was the only one not in attendance.
