Kaya naman binigyan ng pahinga ang Gilas Pilipinas lalo na ang mga naglaro sa FIBA World Cup na unang ginaganap sa Maynila kasunod ang Asian Games.
Subalit magiging maiksi lang ang pahinga nina Cone at Brownlee dahil agad itong babalik para makasama ang Barangay Ginebra sa paghahanda para sa pagbubukas ng PBA Season 48 sa Nobyembre 5.“Tim left today. Si Brownlee, kailangan din umalis. Si Kouame, for sure hindi na muna natin makikita kasi may contract sa Europe.
