We are giving him time to rest after IBL,' Barangay Ginebra assistant coach Richard del Rosario told The Manila Times on Friday.
The 6-foot-4 Brownlee has played non-stop basketball this year since getting the green light to play again by FIBA . It could be recalled that days after leading Gilas Pilipinas to the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games gold medal, news came out that the well-loved Ginebra import flunked an anti-doping test in the quadrennial Games.The three-time PBA Best Import eventually failed to play for the Gin Kings in the 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup after taking a more conservative approach.
