Gino was holding court at his newest Manchester restaurant this week - and says MORE are on the way
Celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo has unveiled his stylish new Manchester restaurant - and says he's already eyeing TWO further sites for his Italian brand in the city. Gino was in the city centre on Thursday night to welcome guests to his new restaurant on First Street.
Gino, with his favourite Negroni cocktail in hand, said: "Let me get this launch done and then I can focus on the bigger sites in Manchester. In the pipeline there are two sites in Manchester. "We say ok we have an amazing site there, but we have another amazing site in Manchester so I'm thinking alright let's do this properly."
Seating is in a mix of butter-soft leather and thick woven fabrics while stylish feature wallpaper adorned with exotic birds and bold wildflowers is on the walls. There are also low-hanging boat rope woven lamps are suspended amongst green trailing vines. "This area on First Street is becoming like the Islington of London, the Camden Town of London, because all of a sudden you go 'ah what is going on around here'.
