Former Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has opened up about the possibility of a future with his new partner, Bianca Guaccero . The couple, who met while competing on the Italian version of the show last year, have been dating for three months. While their relationship seems to be progressing well, Giovanni acknowledges that the geographical distance between them can pose challenges. Currently, Giovanni is back in England preparing for his UK tour, while Bianca remains in Italy.
This separation has been 'difficult' for the pair, as Giovanni explained to Heat Magazine. 'I'm touring for the next seven months, so we're having to make sacrifices but we're making it work,' he shared. When asked about taking their relationship to the next level, Giovanni remained cautious. He stated that 'it's never been the right time' to settle down and is still unsure if Bianca is the one for him. 'If Bianca is the right person to do this with, then I'll do it with her,' he said. 'But it's too early for me to know that's the case, we've only been together for three months.' As a symbol of their triumph on the dance floor in December, the couple got matching tattoos on their wrists commemorating the special date. This romantic gesture followed shortly after Giovanni's departure from Strictly amid rumors circulating about his off-stage behavior – allegations which he has consistently denied, as reported by Lancs Live.During this time, Bianca entered Giovanni's life, offering him much-needed support. He recalled: 'She was aware of the situation that was going on with me in the UK, but she was very supportive. She was there for me from the get-go, she was just what I needed. 'She is exactly what I wanted, a nice person next to me, I needed it. I needed the support and she has given that to me.' It is important to note that in September, the BBC upheld complaints of harassment and verbal bullying against Giovanni by his 2023 celebrity partner Amanda Abbington. However, he was cleared of accusations of physical aggression.
