BBC Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice has spoken out in a new interview
Giovanni Pernice has opened up about the last conversation he had with Amanda Abbington prior to the BBC 's Strictly Come Dancing bullying investigation, in his first interview since the broadcaster disclosed its findings, reports Birmingham Live.
He detailed his immediate concern, saying, "I said, 'Please tell me it's nothing serious,' and the first thing I did was call my doctor and tried to organise for her to have a scan right away." Pernice went on to describe the jovial nature of their relationship: "Amanda was a laugh, we were making each other laugh. She would say very bad things, like the c-word. She would use it.
Lastly, he addressed the allegation made by Abbington that he had made an inappropriate comment regarding her age and sexual attractiveness, which the investigation found no evidence of.
