An 11-year-old girl suffered 36 wounds after being attacked by a pack of eight Labradors at Coombeland Farm in Devon. The dogs, owned by John Hardy, also attacked the girl's mother during a separate incident in January 2024. Hardy was convicted of two offences of being the owner of dogs that were dangerously out of control and sentenced to 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay each victim £5,000 compensation.
