Anthony Marks, 51, died after being assaulted on Cromer Street in the early hours of August 10. He was homeless and is thought to have been sheltering in a nearby bin shed. A 17-year-old boy has previously been charged and remanded in custody to face trial next year.
Neither youth can be named because of their ages. Police are still trying to find Mr Marks’ family. Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee said: ‘Sadly, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to identify next-of-kin for Anthony and I urge anyone who can help to contact the investigation team. ‘I am also very keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident but has not yet spoken with police.
