A little girl from London has penned a touching letter to Donald Tusk saying Britain and the EU ‘should be friends’ despite Brexit.
Tusk posted an image of the letter, finished with a drawing of a unicorn, to his Instagram page this afternoon captioning it: ‘We will always be friends, Sophie.’The former Polish prime minister shared the image with his 111,000 followers less than 24 hours after MPs voted against Theresa May’s revised Brexit deal.‘I live in Britain. I know we are leaving the EU. But I think we should be friends.‘from Sophie aged 6’.
