Star of Girls Aloud, Kimberley Walsh, has posted a touching tribute to her bandmate Sarah Harding on her birthday three years after her tragic passing from cancer
Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has shared some moving words to bandmate Sarah Harding on what would have been her 42nd birthday. Kimberley posted a snap of herself and Sarah doing a Charlie's Angels pose. The throwback photo was of the pair when they were performing both dressed in leotards and knee high boots.
Another fan added: “This is pic is gorgeous! love you girls ”, a third wrote: “Thinking of you all today, she’s watching over you, always”. A fourth said: “Sending lots of love and hugs today! I just know she’d be smiling endlessly after everything you’ve all done for her this year”. The girlband recently revealed they would be releasing a charity single, a new release of Stand By You with Sarah on lead vocals. In the clip, Cheryl, opened up about the significance of the song. In addition to becoming the band’s second ever number one single, the track gained a whole new significance following Sarah’s death three years ago .
