The judging panel at the Scottish Transport Awards praised Glasgow Airport for its operation excellence and efforts to continually improve the passenger experience.

Glasgow Airport has been named Airport of the Year for the second year running and staff are "thrilled" to have received the accolade.The judging panel praised the transport hub for its operation excellence and efforts to continually improve the passenger experience.

Managing director, Mark Beveridge said: "We are thrilled to have been named Scotland’s Airport of the Year for the second consecutive year. AGS Airports, who own the transport hub as well as Aberdeen and Southhampton Airports, also picked up an award for The Project CAELUS consortium in partnership with NHS Scotland.

Fiona Smith, AGS Airports group head of aerodrome strategy and CAELUS project director, said: "We were delighted when we heard we had been shortlisted in the Scottish Transport Awards earlier this year, so to win is a fantastic achievement.
