The Old Toll Bar on Paisley Road West has been praised by a customer for taking 'proactive' steps to create a safe space for women.
A Glasgow bar has been praised for taking swift action against a man who was acting inappropriately toward female customers.
Lauren had been at a nearby roller disco before heading for drinks at the bar over the weekend. Soon after, she said an older man came over to sit beside the group, nearly sat on her lap, and went on to touch her inappropriately. She said: "Like any bar, there can be the odd pain in the arse customer. An older man probably in his sixties, decided it was appropriate to sit on a bar stool next to me and nearly sit on my lap.
"However, after about 10 mins the man in question decided it would be appropriate to slip his hand under my blazer and wrap his arms around my waist, and started moving his hands upwards. I straight away turned round and just said “No, you do not touch me”.
