'No avocado this weekend'

healthWorkers at the 13th Note in the Merchant City are staging a 48-hour walkout until Sunday over what trade union Unite says is a"failure of the owners to deal with concerns".

It comes after the Glasgow Times previously reported that frustrated staff members were considering industrial or legal action, accusing bosses of"dragging their heels" with a formal grievance lodged by 80% of the workforce. At the demonstration, people were waving flags and holding up signs and they shouted to get the attention of passers-by.A third displayed:"No avocado this weekend."
