Fire crews battled a fire on Tollcross Road after a blaze erupted inside a building just after 2.30am. One crew remains at the scene this morning with bus services diverted.
Firefighters descended on the east end of Glasgow following a blaze in the early hours of this morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances to the scene on Tollcross Road after a fire erupted inside a building shortly after 2.30am on Tuesday, April 2. A picture sent to Glasgow Live shows a police cordon erected with a building engulfed in flames. The 61, 240, 255 and 263 routes are being diverted following the incident. The diversion is via Toll Cross Rd, Braidfauld St, London Rd, Helenvale St, Tollcross Rd, normal route. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "We were called to reports of a building fire and three appliances were mobilised.Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
