Kirstie Storrie, 43, has supported her mum through treatment and lost her sister-in-law to ovarian cancer. Now, 10 years after her own diagnosis, she's calling on Glasgow to support the Beatson this Christmas.
A Glasgow cancer survivor has supported both her mother and sister-in-law through treatment for the disease after going through it herself.
"The Beatson Cancer Charity have most recently supported, my mum. Over the last year, my mum was diagnosed with ovarian and breast cancer. Kirstie added: "Beatson Cancer Charity have had an impact on my life significantly over the years. When I counted through my family members, there is myself, my gran, papa, have all been helped. But, most recently my mum, sister-in-law and a few friends. So, I have visited many people in The Beatson."If I had to describe Beatson Cancer Charity, I would say hopeful, encouraging and supportive.
Rachel Mullin, Individual Giving Officer at Beatson Cancer Charity, said: “We are so pleased to be launching our Bauble Appeal again this year.
