Care watchdog the Scottish Social Services Council heard took the photo when the resident was fast asleep and then shared it on the social media platform for her own "amusement".A report published this week explained: "You took the image of a person who uses services while they slept, and then sent that image to a number of your associates. You did this without the knowledge or consent of the individual.
"You had no good reason and no authority to do this, and you took and distributed the image apparently for your own amusement, and that of your associates.You showed a blatant disregard for the privacy, dignity and well being of the service user and a lack of respect for the individual involved." McDonald, who according to the SSSC is registered in Glasgow but was working for Aberdeen based Fairview House Care Home at the time, and failed to engage with them as they investigated the incident.
