Lauren Stirling was struck off after sending photos and videos of a vulnerable resident covered in faeces to someone outwith her work.

A Glasgow carer has been struck off after sending photos and videos of a care home resident covered in faeces.

She also sent messages stating "do you remember her?? She’s to stay in bed she’s on morphine and on end of life man" and “that’s a great morning”. The Scottish Social Services Council has now removed her from the register, condemning her for having "breached their dignity and right to privacy". "You were employed to provide care to this individual, and on finding them with faeces on their body and on their bedding, you did not immediately assist in providing personal care and changing their bedding. Instead, you breached their dignity and right to privacy and took videos of them.Join Glasgow Live's WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages.
