Detectives say they believe the man in the images will be able to assist with their investigation
The attack happened on Mitchell Lane on Thursday, December 22 with the male victim requiring hospital treatment.
Police Scotland launched an investigation and believe the man in the images may be able to assist with their enquiries.He is described as white, around 35 to 40 years of age, of medium build, wearing dark coloured jacket, cream sweater, navy jeans and brown shoes.
