The show winner threatened her former lover's ex for the second time

A Glasgow winner of hit show Come Dine with Me has avoided prison for the second time after making threats to a former lover's ex again.

Lucy Haughey made headlines in 2017 for sleeping with a 15-year-old boy and she is now banned from contacting Sharon Low for the next decade after posting a video on social media which included abusive comments. The mum-of-three, from the south side of the city, had originally been convicted in 2017 of stalking and abusing the social worker and was given community service, writes the Daily Record. After the non-harassment order came to an end the 42-year-old posted the video which landed her back in court this week, where she was handed community service.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court, Sheriff Frances McCartney warned Haughey: “If you break any parts of this order you are likely to be sent to prison.” Sign up to Glasgow Live's newsletter Get all the latest Glasgow news and headlines sent straight to your inbox twice a day by signing up to our free newsletter. The morning newsletter arrives every day before 9am and the evening newsletter, manually curated by the team, is sent between 4pm and 5pm, giving you a round up of the most important stories we've covered that day.
