Sunny Govan Community Radio have stated that their 'mission is under threat' after an important FM transmitter, which costs around £4,000 to replace or repair, failed.
A community radio station, which has operated in Glasgow for over 22 years, has made a desperate appeal after a vital piece of equipment failed.
They have also launched a fundraiser to ensure more people have an opportunity to break into the radio world. "The estimated cost of repairing or replacing it is approximately £4,000. This is a significant financial burden for a small charity like ours, and we need your help to keep our FM radio broadcasts alive loud and proud . Our FM broadcast plays a vital role in supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the community. Our radio station is not just a medium of entertainment; it is a platform for education, a source of connection, and a hub for creativity.
