A fleet of Nissan Leafs needs to be replaced as they have reached the end of their contract and a new deal will go before councillors tomorrow.
New electric cars are set to be bought by Glasgow City Council at a cost of £1.35m to replace part of the current fleet.

The greater range is required to provide “reassurance to vehicle users, and remove the need to constantly re-charge vehicles”, which will increase availability of the council’s charging network.
