Police were called Finnieston Street at its junction with the Clydeside Expressway on Saturday. The alarm was raised at around 11.25pm following reports of a 'road crash' in the area.
Police told Glasgow Live that the alleged incident involved an Audi A4 and a Mercedes GLA. There are no reports of injuries.A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. Police also said that a 21-year-old man is is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 'in connection with' the alleged incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Glasgow Live: "A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences following a road crash in Glasgow on Finnieston Street at its junction with the Clydeside Expressway. The incident occurred around 11.25pm on Saturday 10 September and involved an Audi A4 and a Mercedes GLA.
"There were no reports of any injuries. A 21-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the incident on Monday, 12 September.
