Police have charged a 23-year-old man with firearm offences after an incident in the south side of the city on Thursday evening.

A man has been charged after sparking a major emergency response over a potential firearm being discovered in the south side of the city.Officers discovered a replica weapon and charged a 23-year-old man in connection with firearms offences.
