The group launched various missiles at the customer
A 20-strong gang of thugs tossed a brick and stones at a customer when they ran amok at McDonald's in Parkhead last night.
An eye witness watched in horror as the shocking scene unfolded, with one of the young thugs "up close and personal" in the man's face. She told Glasgow Live: "I witnessed a group of approximately 20 young boys and girls who were challenging a man at the restaurant.
"From my observation, the man appeared to be attempting to move the group away from him when they began throwing stones and a traffic cone. At one point, a young boy was up close and personal to the man's face, and he moved the boy away from him. This caused the group to accuse the man of assaulting the boy, which further escalated the situation."
The witness added: "As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled by the dangerous and irresponsible behaviour of the youths that are responsible for these attacks.
