Heritage experts visited the city and were given a tour of historic buildings including the council chambers.
Experts have dubbed Glasgow one of 10 'leading' cities where top practices are carried out to strengthen its cultural heritage as visitors were impressed by efforts to preserve buildings.
More than 20 heritage experts from across the continent visited the city in July for three days for the hub's first peer learning visit, exploring the city chambers, other buildings and Pollok Country Park. Councillor Annette Christie, SNP, said: "The mission of the European Culture Heritage is to connect, share and strengthen heritage across Europe. Glasgow was very honoured to be chosen as one of only 10 initiatives following a call for good practice."
