A Glasgow grandad who has been given just weeks to live went on a quest to find his childhood 'best pal' and best man at his wedding after losing contact a lifetime ago.

A Glasgow grandad who has been given just weeks to live has been reunited with the best man at his wedding after 60 years of no contact.

Sadly, the 82 year-old was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 however, it was "managed" - until July of this year, Jimmy was told the cancer had spread and he was given just 12 weeks to live.

"He got in contact with his old friendship group from Glasgow but, Tam was the only one we couldn't find and he was really special to grandad. I put the post up not really expecting much but it was worth a try - and everyone knows everyone in Glasgow.
