A startling image of Daniel Haig holding the knife that killed 14-year-old Justin McLaughlin has been released by prosecutors to send a message about the danger of carrying weapons.
Chilling pictures have emerged of a teenager holding the knife he used to stab a schoolboy to death on a Glasgow train station platform.
Daniel Haig was jailed for life today for killing the 14-year-old with a single blow to his heart. Glasgow High Court was told in June they were both affiliated to rival east end gangs when Haig retrieved the kitchen knife from his bag, chased Justin along the platform and stabbed him.
