The KLM943 had been travelling from Amsterdam to Glasgow on Monday, May 20, when the captain announced they would have to turn back over a 'technical fault'.
A Glasgow -bound KLM flight was forced to turn around over Hull after passengers noticed 'unusual engine activity'.
Passengers onboard say they noticed the Embraer E175STD, which had been due to land in Glasgow at 7.50pm, appeared to develop unusual engine activity including fluctuating speed near to the English city. "Several of the passengers had noticed the unusual engine activity including fluctuating speed somewhere north of Hull/south of Newcastle. The captain came over tannoy to announce to us all that for safety reasons we would be returning to Amsterdam and providing reassurance.
