The M8 will be closed on the Baillieston slip roads for two nights. The eastbound slip road will be closed one night and the westbound the following night, according to Transport Scotland.
Motorists have been warned that a section of the M8 is set to be closed for two consecutive nights next month.
The works will take place in two phases as follows, ensuring only one direction of the M8 carriageway, eastbound or westbound, is closed at any given time: Phase 2: The M8 westbound carriageway at Junction 8 Baillieston, between the off- slip and on-slip roads, will be closed for one night on Tuesday 10 October - between 8pm to 6am the following day.The closures are required to ensure road user and road worker safety whilst bridge inspections are undertaken. Works have been scheduled overnight to minimise disruption to road users.
