Police were called to the scene after reports of concern for a man near Baird Street.
The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and died a short time after. Police are currently treating his death as unexplained, but not suspicious. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a man found at a bridge crossing the M8 close to Baird Street in Glasgow around 7.55pm on Sunday, November 21.“The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead a short time later. His death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
