Local officers say it was an 'isolated incident' with no risk to the wider community.
A man has been charged after it's claimed a car 'lost control and struck eight boys' in North Glasgow.
Six youths between 13 and 17, were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries, while two boys, aged 12, were treated at the scene. Chief Inspector Brian Fraser, area commander for Glasgow North East, said: “Police were called to a report of a crash around 5.40pm on Monday, 22 August, 2022, on Provanmill Road, Glasgow, in which a car is believed to have lost control and struck eight male youths.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are continuing. He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. The road was re-opened around 7.45pm.Sign up to Glasgow Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox.
