Residents of a street in Glasgow 's Milton have left the emergency services in stitches after phoning to report an escaped peacock.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, Colin said: "All my neighbours were out in the street and they were telling me their was a peacock on the roof. I thought they were winding me up."Apparently, there is a family at the end of the street that has four. I have lived here for five years, and I never knew that. "I phoned the Fire Brigade and the Police and they were laughing down the phone. It's not the typical thing you hear happening in Milton."He added: "I was worried about the weather and it being a bird not used to the climate. The owners eventually managed to get it down at around 9am this morning
