Courtney Kimmins has lived in the studio flat which is managed by Wheatley Homes for more than a year and believes it is unfit for her to welcome a new born into the world.

A Glasgow mum-to-be has been left desperate to move out of her Cardonald flat which she claims is need of major repairs.

The kitchen doors and cabinets are nearly falling off, it's at the point where if you put any weight on it, they will crumble.The Cardonald woman feels as though her problems have been ignored by the housing association. Courtney claims that repair people sometimes don't show up or appear unannounced while she is away."Right now I feel abandoned. I'm scared to bring my child here.

A Wheatley Homes Glasgow spokesperson said: “We’re doing everything we can to carry out repairs in the home, but the tenant has not allowed us access on several occasions.
