The driver saved the day! 👏
Two Glasgow newlyweds had their big day saved by Glasgow Taxi driver after they nearly missed the start of their own reception due to TRNSMT traffic.
However a busy Glasgow summer Saturday including large crowds heading to day two of the music festival at Glasgow Green meant availability was low and an SOS call was issued by the stranded bride and groom – leading to Glasgow Taxi driver Jim Smith saving the day.Kirsty said: “We got married on Saturday and had booked a taxi convoy but because of TRNSMT they were struggling to arrive. A call was put out that there was a wedding party needing to get from The Hidden Gardens to Cubatas.
Driver Jim Smith was over the moon to have been able to out Kirsty and Liam and said they were "absolutely delightful".
