A planning application lodged with Glasgow City Council said the proposal is for the construction of a retail pod, signage and store within the railway station.

Designs show a high top counter for potential seating and there is to be a North Hanover Street entrance.The planning application is under consideration by Glasgow City Council.The major railway stop is also home to a new 131 square metre Marks and Spencer food hall located beside the Dundas Street entrance. If Greggs gets the go-ahead it will share the station with the M&S food store, which was given permission to sell alcohol last month.
