Police Scotland has now confirmed the victim was 27-year-old Brian Gough from Springburn and have set up a website that gives members of the public access to a form to send information directly to the Major Investigation Team.
Brian Gough died after he was attacked and stabbed in Saracen Street, Possil at around 5pm on Saturday . Emergency services rushed to the scene and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.
