Glasgow Prestwick Airport has been named as one of the cheapest in the UK - and the whole of Scotland - to fly from meaning Scots can jet away for less.
When it comes to saving money for a holiday, many people may skip over what airport they're flying to and instead only focus on expenses such as accommodation and how much spending money they're taking.
The new analysis comes from online travel agent loveholidays who revealed Glasgow Prestwick as one of the cheapest when booking a package holiday, enabling cost-conscious Scots to save substantial amounts without compromising on trips abroad.Offering flights from across the country with all major airlines, the travel experts analysed the average cost of a flight and hotel package from 28 UK airports to reveal where holidaymakers can bag the best deal.
