A Glasgow private hire driver has been given a “severe” warning after he was caught speeding at 50mph in a 30 zone.
Councillors decided to grant the driver a three-year extension to his licence, but he was reprimanded after failing to tell the council he had received points on his licence.A Police Scotland representative said the conviction had shown up during routine checks following Mr Kissi’s application, revealing he was fined £190.
Councillor Alex Wilson, the licensing committee chairman, said: “That means you’ve not read the terms and conditions of your licence then.
