The training exercise which will include firefighters and other emergency service units will be taking place on the Albert Bridge on Wednesday, March 13 from 8.30am.
Glaswegians are being warned about road closures as hundreds of emergency service personnel are set to descend on Glasgow City Centre.
Over 100 personnel from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard, and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution will be participating. Glasgow City Council have confirmed there will be a number of road closures between 6am and 7pm today. These include a ban on vehicle movements at Saltmarket between Steel Street and Clyde Stree and the Albert Bridge for its full length.
