A planning application has been submitted to Glasgow City Council for a project that will see Charing Cross regenerated in what has been described as a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity.
Plans have been submitted for a 'once in a lifetime' regeneration of the city's Charing Cross which will see the area transformed, with new student accommodation and potential for a healthcare or GP practice included.

The removal of the Tay House bridge over the M8 also forms part of the plans which is said to have a transformational effect, providing the opportunity to create a new gateway into the city centre.
