Emergency Services rushed to Queens Park at around 7.05pm on Saturday, September 21, after the alarm was raised. Officers carried out a search of the area but no trace of the males was found.

We previously reported that an eyewitness stated the area surrounding the pond has been cordoned off by police. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.05pm on Saturday, 21 September, 2024, we were called to a report of two males with knives in Queens Park, Glasgow. “Officers attended and carried out a search of the area however there was no trace of the males. There were no reports of injuries and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
