Us v Them has more to offer than just great coffee!

There are numerous places around Glasgow you can grab a coffee and although it could take you a while to decide where you're getting your caffeine fix from this week, there's some places you just can't say no to. And Us v Them is one of those such places.

Explaining the name behind the business, James said: "Us V Them is an LCD Soundsystem song. I personally got the opportunity to make them coffee backstage at T in the Park in 2016. It's one of my favourite bands and I've always loved the name of that song. James worked for Dear Green for four years and this sparked his interest in the caffeine side of things. Having been involved in the coffee industry for 22 years, James had enough expertise to branch out on his own.

James explained: "I've been going there for the best part of 20 years as a punter and it's a really iconic area. I've always wanted to open up with intention because the most rewarding transactions you get are the little women who come in with their bags of stuff from the market, all she wants is a tea and to sit down and go through her bag in peace and that kinda hammers home why we're in the area.

It's not just locals that step through the door with famous faces coming in to visit with it being so close to the iconic Barrowland Ballroom. You can see their signatures against the wall as you sip your drink and dig into their pastries.
