As we leave summer behind and the thought of not seeing the sun again until next spring, the weather has turned in our favour with temperatures expected to rise all week.
Glasgow's weather is set to brighten up with temperatures to soar to 25C midweek and 23C into the week.
Despite slowly moving into autumn, and soon winter, Glasgow - and much of Scotland - will see a spike in temperatures over the coming days making for a refreshing change to our dreich weather. According to BBC Weather, Glasgow will see highs of 25C this Wednesday with the highest weekend temperature occurring on Saturday .The sun isn't just set to stay out all the time, however, with today seeing highs of 22 and Tuesday seeing highs of 23C.
Meanwhile on Thursday, highs of 24C is predicted with very little chance of rain. Whilst Friday is also set to see highs of 22C, it will be cloudy which could mean we might feel a little colder than usual with much of the sun set to peak out from behind the clouds between 3pm to 7pm. The chances of rain does increase during the weekend with Glasgow likely to see it shower on Sunday for much of the day. Saturday will likely see a few light showers, if anything, with much of the day expected to be bright and breezy.
