Well done to these amazing kids!

More than 1200 kids from 17 primary schools walked a 5k in yellow caps to support The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.The annual fundraising event, Go Yellow, which took place on Wednesday, May 30, is sponsored by First Bus and allows youngsters to learn about the hospice and have fun at the same time.

The day saw a mascot race featuring Harvey the hospice heart, Sparky from SP Energy Network and Chimp the Champ from Glasgow Life , sporting activities and an inflatable fun run for the kids, with food courtesy of the Rapid Relief Team. Speaking on the day, Michelle Jeffcott, head of community fundraising at the hospice said:"This is the 19th year of Go Yellow and it has been an absolutely fantastic day.

"We are so grateful to all of the schools for their support and to the fantastic mascots for coming along and taking on the challenge of the mascot race. "We’d also like to give a huge thank you to all the organisations who turned out and helped us facilitate this amazing event."
