The Windsor Street area has been locked down by police
A Glasgow street has been taped off this afternoon after a woman was rushed to hospital in the early hours.
The Windsor Street area in the west end, off Maryhill Road, remains locked down by police today , with a cordon in place and officers at the scene. The 26-year-year woman was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following reports of 'concern for a person'. Police Scotland confirmed enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.In a separate matter at the same address, unrelated to the incident involving the woman, a 50-year-old man has been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1am on Monday, 7 August, 2023, we were called to a report of concern for a person at a property in the Windsor Street area of Glasgow.Sign up to our daily Glasgow Live newsletter here to receive news and features direct to your inbox. "A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an unrelated matter and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident."
