Glasgow Subway workers announce four days of strikes
Unite members are in dispute with Strathclyde Passenger Transport which operates the Glasgow Subway
Members of the Unite union will walk out on Saturday 6 August, then on Tuesday 9, Saturday 13 and Saturday 27.Matches against Union Saint-Gilloise, St Johnstone and Ross County will also be on strike days. Unite say members are increasingly being called in to work shifts at short notice, "leading to significant work-life pressures".Rangers' first four home games of their European and domestic league campaigns will be on strike daysUnite spokesman Willie Thomson said: "The strike ballot is a last resort for a hardworking and loyal workforce.
